Ron Shaulis Buck
Score: 185 4/8
Rank: #1 Pennsylvania Archery Typical
Item #: 2109
In late October of 2017, this giant offered bow hunter Ron Shaulis the shot of a lifetime during the Pennsylvania archery season — on public land in Westmoreland County. After the shot, they trailed the deer for miles — but a thinning and ultimately ending blood trail never yielded the trophy. Ron and his family never gave up —with dedication and persistence, they were able to recover what is now the new Pennsylvania record typical archery harvest in December of that year, nearly a month and a half later. The Shaulis buck gross scored 193 3/8," and nets 185 4/8," a truly remarkable feat from such a heavy hunter populated state.
