If you were one of the very fortunate hunters to harvest a deer in velvet, it was a trophy you could treasure, but not replicate, until now. Velvet is visually complex and delicate. It has softness, texture, and subtle color variation that is difficult to reproduce convincingly. A true velvet replica must capture both the geometry of the rack and the surface detail that makes velvet look alive.

Antlers by Klaus has developed and perfected the art of replicating velvet antlers without damaging the original in any way. Through our multistep process, the artists in our Wisconsin studio can replicate velvet on your original or replica antlers. This allows you to preserve the look of velvet while keeping your original antlers protected.
How Antlers by Klaus recreates velvet
Velvet-like material is carefully applied to the replica or original. Then all the minute details of coloring are hand-painted onto your velveted antlers. The goal is a finish that looks right in person and in photos, with realistic texture and natural transitions across beams and tines. We guarantee it will be a work of art anyone would be proud to own.

Our velveted antlers are designed for indoor display. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and handle gently during installation. If the piece will be shipped or used for a commercial display, ask about packing and placement recommendations.
