Record book whitetails date back to the 1860s, and of the fifteen thousand deer or so that have been recorded in various record books, less than two dozen typicals have reached a score of 200 inches or more. These beautiful antlers were recently discovered within an antique store in Boyertown, PA. At the time there was very little information available that could identify a hunter or even a location where the antlers originated. After several months of research, we have now learned the deer was taken in Pennsylvania during the late ’60s or early ’70s, by a gentleman named Frederick Kyress. With a gross score of 223 4/8, this great buck sits among the five highest scoring typicals ever recorded! If the deer would have been measured and entered at the time it was taken, it could have held world record status for more than 20 years. It’s the number one typical from Pennsylvania and the largest typical recorded from the entire line of east coast states.

All Antlers By Klaus products are insured during shipping. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately within 5 days of receipt. Retain all original shipping materials, including the box. The freight carrier will need access to the original shipping materials for inspection and return. We will either exchange or repair the item.
