Peter Swistun Buck

This is one super whitetail with a gross typical score of 216 6/8. This buck was successfully taken on November 17th, 1983 in Whitkow, Saskatchewan. The longest tine is 12 inches, the greatest spread is 27 1/8 and the inside spread being 25 2/8 inches. The right side base is 6 inches and the left side base is 7 inches. The story  of the hunt involves Peter Swistun and his friend.  After breakfast they fed the cattle and in doing so spotted a buck. So Peter and his buddy retreated to track the whitetail. His buddies shot off three shots and missed. However, they continued to hunt what they saw as a small bodied whitetail with an enormous rack. They again got sights of the buck at 400 yards in a deep ravine and Peter then got  a perfect shot at the neck. They were both in awe at the huge 6X7 rack!
