Eichstaedt World Record 6-Point

Burt Eichstaedt had things going against him on this particular Fall afternoon — a late start with thunderstorms rolling in.  So when the days’ hunt was done, he was thrilled to have arrowed a really nice 8-pointer.  When he located the downed buck the next day, he was surprised to find he actually dropped a really (really) REALLY large 6-Pointer – certainly the largest he had ever seen.  After official Pope & Young scoring, Burt Eichstadt’s 6 was so big, it was awarded the title of #1 6-Point Whitetail in the World (regardless of weapon).  Beams of 28 4/8″ and 29 0/8″ with a 21 6/8″ inside spread and a net score of 155 4/8″ Typical.
