A railroad employee, Martin Carlson was riding a train just southeast of Grand Rapids, MN, when he spotted a deer trying to cross the tracks.  The snow was still deep and the deer stumbled in the drifts. The jarring was enough to dislodge one of his antlers, which landed alongside the tracks, which was it easy for Martin to pick it up. While he searched for hours, Martin was unable to locate the other side, and had to walk back the mile to town!  Nearly 40 years later, it was purchased by George Carter, lending his name to this record book shed. The six point frame measures an exceptional 93 2/8” and features an additional 54 6/8” of non-typical points.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Antlers By Klaus product within 30 days of receipt, simply contact us to arrange an exchange or return and refund (less shipping).

All Antlers By Klaus products are insured during shipping. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately within 5 days of receipt. Retain all original shipping materials, including the box. The freight carrier will need access to the original shipping materials for inspection and return. We will either exchange or repair the item.

  • There is a 3% service fee on all purchases $2,000 and above paid via a credit card. There is a 6% service fee on all international credit card purchases.
