Fedirko Buck

Dan Fedirko took this world class 247 3/8” net double dropper in 1998. On November 23rd he went out for a walk when a doe burst out into the open with this giant right on her tail! As he chased her around the field he kept pushing her closer and closer. Taking the shot with his 30-06 and heard an impact. The deer tore for cover, but darkness soon forced Dan to have a torturous night of waiting.  At dawn, with a heavy snowfall, he still managed to find the wounded buck and went to finish the task…as he pulled the trigger nothing happened!  He had forgotten to turn off the safety! With a quick flick and a shot  later, the buck was down. Because of the long common base points off the G2s, the buck is a net 175” typical with an outstanding 72 3/8” of extra non typical inches! In 1998 this buck was a top 50 all time B&C non typical and the fifth largest measured in Saskatchewan. Main beams are both 28 5/8” long. The inside spread is 22”, which is topped off with 11 3/8” and 10 2/8” drop tines.
