The Knifehandle Shed is one of the most famous whitetail shed antlers ever discovered and is at the center of one of the greatest mysteries in deer hunting history. Found in Iowa by Glen Wagner, this incredible antler scores an astounding 106 inches by itself, making it one of the highest-scoring typical whitetail shed antlers ever recorded. The massive tine length, exceptional mass, and remarkable symmetry hinted at a buck that may have challenged world-record status.
The buck earned the nickname “Knifehandle Buck” because the matching antler was believed to have been cut apart years earlier and used to make knife handles. For decades, only one side of the rack was known to exist, leaving hunters and collectors to wonder just how large the complete set might have been. The surviving antler and later discoveries revealed that this mysterious Iowa giant may have carried a rack capable of grossing more than 230 inches, making it one of the greatest typical whitetails never seen alive by hunters.

All Antlers By Klaus products are insured during shipping. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately within 5 days of receipt. Retain all original shipping materials, including the box. The freight carrier will need access to the original shipping materials for inspection and return. We will either exchange or repair the item.
