Lloyd Goad Buck

A FORMER WORLD RECORD TYPICAL ARCHERY BUCK! In the early 1960’s bow hunting was not like it is today. Recurve bows and wooden arrows were the norm, while compound bows and graphite arrows were only science fiction. Nature presented a shot of only perhaps 18 yards and he let his wooden arrow fly, as the buck whirled. An agonizing four hours later, and Larry had his buck! An exceptional 7 x 7, it was declared the new archery typical record in 1962 and was only beaten by the Mel Johnson buck in 1965 and ties for fourth place with the Curt Van Lith Buck. One of its best features, is that it has NO abnormal points. An exemplary typical antler!
