Oklahoma is not the first state that comes to mind when thinking monsters bucks, but this brute changes all that!

This buck had been roaming the Salt Fork River bottom of northwestern Oklahoma for years, the goal of every hunter who knew of his existence. Loren Tarrant shared that goal and hunted him hard. He had the prized buck pretty well patterned and was up before dawn to watch for him. At daylight, he spotted movement at about 500 yards, too far to take a shot. He waited patiently, hoping that the buck and the accompanying doe would wander towards him. Miraculously , they did just that, and Loren took a shot at 260 yards, before the buck could wind him.

A huge buck, with bases like a baseball bat, with thick, chunky tines and multitudes of little stickers for character. An exceptional deer at an exceptional price!
