Kopp Shed II Right
This shed comes from the deer that produced perhaps the most famous example of a palmated antler, the Edmund Kopp buck. Found near Amaranth, Manitoba, the buck was finally harvested in 1998. ( See item #0006 Edmund Kopp Buck, Deluxe section) Broadly palmated tines look more like paddles than tines. The deep colors, especially in the bases is distinctive of its Canadian origins.
