To say that Richard Pauli was a good deer hunter is an understatement. By 1983, in 26 hunting seasons, when he went to hunt, he never failed to bring home a deer. And it took all of his skills to bring down this rare, gigantic double beamed buck! His attention to detail, like realizing that this brute liked to travel crosswise to the wind, put him in the right spot, at the right time. It was the states’ #1 non-typical and currently is in the 3rd spot. The right antler sprouts 18 points and the left 7, along beams of 25 4/8″ and 28 2/8″. Mass measurements of never less than 5″ and mostly over 6″, show what a truly magnificent rack this is! For pure shock value, the Richard Pauli is hard to beat!
